Low maintenance ain’t “no maintenance”
Even simple tasks have to be done in the garden – raking leaves, trimming ornamental grasses, pruning back flowering trees, applying spray fertilizer on trees and shrubs, pulling volunteer plants from walkways.
To help you come up with solutions to cut down on your garden chores, I’ve curated a number of blog posts and articles about low maintenance gardening for you.
Sometimes what’s keeping you from a low maintenance yard is you, resistant to change!
Every tip may not apply for you. So think broad and deep with these questions:
BROAD: How could I adapt this tip so it’s a perfect fit for my landscape? Should I adapt in in different ways for different parts of the garden?
DEEP: How realistic is this tip for my yard? How many places around the yard could I apply this tip in exactly the same way?
